1 try using wood flooring instead it literally grows on trees they usualy try to find the best fastest path but they don t always succeed 2 again wood unless you are in a biome where wood is scarce 3 make a 3 wide floor barrier and fire won t be able to cross over it even if its wood it won t burn.
The only thing you for the best possible room is a couple decent large statues.
Avoid it where fire is likely because of how fast it helps fire spread but it s not a huge issue.
